On november of last year I decided to retake videogame development in a more serious and proffesional way. A friend of mine sent me a tutorial of how to make a 2D Platformer and I loved it because it was so easy.
Here's the link to the tutorial i'm refering to: Beginner Godot 2D Platformer - CodingKaiju
There's no much to say other than I followed the tutorial to a tee. I also appreciated that the author explained a bunch of things. I learned that I like the easy to use nature of Godot.
Here's a photo of the game I did, the same as the tutorial.
Later I gave it a little spin, creating a new sprite for the character and making it be able to doble jump, but each jump was the character flying with their tail. I also changed the coins for pink burgers because I like burgers.
Maybe I'll redo it someday when I know more than I do now.
